How Happy is YOUR Country?
There’s a scientist at the University of Leicester in the U.K. who has compiled a world map of happiness. Yes, happiness. According to him, if you want to be around lots of happy people, you should take up residence in Denmark. Or, if you would prefer the opposite, Burundi looks like the place for you (ranking 178th of 178 countries included in his study). Bulgaria is toward the lower end, with a ranking of 164th, Korea is pretty close to the middle of the pack at 102nd, and the U.S. seems to be doing pretty well at number 23. One wonders how truly scientific something like this can really be, but it’s a fun little diversion to check out nonetheless.
